For some time I have wanted to do an album of self penned songs and this is it.
While I was involved with the writing of the songs the album title came into my head. I realised that for me at least, this was much better than any day job!

I wanted the album to be a mixture of many different styles and reflect some of the music that has influenced me over the years: Some songs, like ‘Let me down easy’ and ‘I don’t want to live here no more’ come from my love of blues and soul music. Others are more personal such as ‘Live each moment’ and ‘Love that never ends’. ‘Margarita’ and ‘Enjoy it’ , I hope, are feel good songs that you just want to join in on, whereas ‘Heaven can wait’ was more about playing with sound.

The rest of the tracks are a mixture of all sorts except of course ‘Rock ‘n’ Roll Stirs My Soul’ which pays homage to that early rock and roll music. Spot the references to ‘Johnny be goode’, Move it’ and ‘Shaking all over’

I have had such a great time writing and recording this album that I am currently working on the next one.

I can’t thank  Arthur at Faustuss Studios enough for all his help producing and recording never mind some great playing on the tracks.
